SINGAPORE: Police on Monday arrested four men for their suspected involvement in loansharking activities, in a 10-hour operation.
They were caught in Sengkang and Yishun.
Automated Teller Machine (ATM) cards and mobile phones, believed to be related to loansharking activities, were also seized as evidence.
Police said their investigations revealed that the four suspects had assisted the loansharks in their businesses by collecting loan repayments and carrying out bank transfers.
One of the suspects, a 31-year-old man, will be charged on Wednesday in court.
Police said investigations into the remaining suspects are still ongoing.
